Choose whether clients can grab a slot today. Great for filling gaps; switch it off if you prefer a heads-up before anyone lands on today’s calendar.
Require a lead time before any appointment; for example, at least 2 hours. Slots inside the notice window simply aren’t offered.
How far into the future clients can book, in days. A tighter window keeps your calendar flexible; a longer one lets regulars plan ahead.
Set how close to the start time clients can still cancel or reschedule: anytime, or up to 2, 12, 24, or 48 hours before. Your AI Front Desk explains and enforces the policy on calls, and the self-serve manage link locks changes inside the window with a friendly note to call instead.
Tell clients “we’ll arrive between 9 and 10” instead of an exact minute (on calls, confirmations, and reminders) while your calendar keeps the exact slot. Popular with mobile and field-service businesses.
Turn on Show category filters on your booking page and clients browse your menu by category, perfect once your service list grows. Set the categories themselves under Business info → Services.
Booking appointments with a team? Switch this on and the booking flow adds a step after the service: clients book their favorite person (with times that follow that member’s hours) or tap Anyone available to see every open time. See Managing your team for assigning services and hours.
When a client has no preference, you decide who’s next up. Take turns (the default) rotates fairly: the member who’s waited longest for an auto-assigned booking gets the next one, and bookings where the client chose a specific person never count against anyone’s turn. Team list order sends them top-down instead: the highest member on your Team list who’s free gets the booking; use the arrows on the Team page to set the order.
Change a rule and every channel updates together: the booking page stops offering the slots, and your AI Front Desk follows the same rules on its very next call.
