How clients book on your page, for appointments and for trades: exact times or arrival windows, how prices show, trip charges, photos, service area, add-ons and more. Scheduley picks defaults for the work you do, and you can adjust any of them.
Your booking page, set up for how you work
Salons and plumbers book very differently, so Scheduley sets up your booking page for the work you do. Pick yours below.
Adjust anything in Settings → Booking → Online booking & pricing, or for one service in Services. Use Scheduley’s recommendation puts it all back.
One set of rules everywhere. Your booking page, website, booking pop-up and AI Receptionist all follow these settings.

How prices show
$45FixedFrom $60Starting at$60–$90RangePrice on requestNo numberFree consultationFree$12 per unitPer unit
Set it per service. A price type that needs a number shows “Price on request” until you add one, so nobody sees “$0”.
Options, add-ons and questions
Options: Short, Medium or Long hair, each with its own price and time.
Add-ons: extras clients tick, like a deep conditioning treatment.
Questions: like “First time with us?”
More than one service in the same visit. Only times long enough for all of it show.
Deposits and payments Coming soon
Online payments are on the way. Once they launch you’ll pick nothing, a deposit or a saved card for your business, and each service can switch to Nothing up front, Deposit or Full price. Today, clients pay at the appointment.
Checkout extras
Promo codes: percent or dollars off at checkout.
Minimum order: online bookings under this total can’t check out.
Prices with tax, a terms checkbox, and member prices.
More you can turn on
Off for appointments, but there if you need them:
First available list instead of the calendar.
Arrival windows for mobile services (“between 9 and 10”).
Address check against your travel range or zip codes (mobile services).
Travel fee, shown when they book and added to the bill.
Photos and videos, up to 5 per booking.
Required notes, own-or-rent and access questions.
Emergency checkbox that texts you right away.
Request (you confirm) for one service: no time picked, you call back. Rare for appointments.
Your AI Receptionist
Books the same way on calls and texts: an exact time (or your arrival windows), prices said the way you set them (never a made-up number), the option the client picks with the time it takes, and your service questions asked. When a service takes a deposit, the client gets the secure payment link by text right after booking.
🔧Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, handyman, painting, roofing, cleaning, pest control, landscaping and junk removal. Customers book an arrival window, like on Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan.
How customers book
Address first, then the job, then a window. Quotes (and landscaping estimates) skip the window: customers request a visit and you call back.
Where do you need service?
Enter your zip so we can check we cover your area.
Estimate, inspection and measurement visits: booked into 2-hour windows
Quotes with no visit: request a visit
No emergency option
Why: the first company to show up and quote usually wins the job.
Cleaning and pressure washing
Cleanings booked into windows, often priced per room or per unit
Custom quotes: request a visit
No own-or-rent question, no emergency option
Why: standard cleanings have set prices, so customers can book them straight away.
Pest control
Inspections and treatments booked into windows
No emergency option
Landscaping, lawn, pool and tree care
Priced work (mowing, cleanups): booked into windows
Estimates, walkthroughs and quotes: request a visit, with the property details and best days
Why: you fit walkthroughs around your routes, the way Jobber’s request forms work.
Junk removal and hauling
Pickups booked into 2-hour windows, priced on site when the crew sees the load
Why: it’s a same-day decision, the way 1-800-GOT-JUNK books.
Book a time or request a visit
Set it per service. Book a time puts the job in an arrival window on your calendar. Request a visit sends you the details with no time, and you call back. Quotes start as requests in every trade, and landscaping estimates do too (see the defaults above).
How prices show

Options, add-ons and questions
Options: a 40- or 50-gallon water heater, each with its own price.
Add-ons: haul away the old unit.
Questions: “Gas or electric?”, typed or picked, optional or required.
More than one service per visit. Only windows long enough for all of it show.

First available and arrival windows
First available lists the soonest windows over the next two weeks, or customers tap Pick a date. Windows can be 30 minutes or 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours and never overlap. Your calendar keeps the exact start; confirmations, reminders and your AI say the window.
Service area
Customers enter a zip or address before anything else. Add the zip codes you serve, or leave it empty to use your travel range in miles. Anyone outside your area sees your phone number instead.
Trip charge
Show itAdded to the billCollectComing soonCollect + creditComing soon
Customers see the trip charge before they book and pay it with the job. Free estimates never get one. Collecting it online comes with online payments.
“Describe the problem”: off, optional or required.
Own or rent: renters can add the owner’s name and number.
Access notes: gate codes, pets, parking.
It all lands on the job, so your tech sees it before arriving.
Photos and videos
Up to 5 files per booking: photos (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, up to 15 MB), videos (MP4, MOV, WebM, up to 100 MB) or PDFs. Off, optional or required, per service if you like. Files are added to the job.
Emergencies
A “This is an emergency” checkbox. Emergencies are flagged on the job and text you right away (if urgent alerts are on in Notifications).
Payment when they book Coming soon
Most trades take nothing up front, and that’s how it works today. When online payments launch, a service can also ask for a Deposit or Full price when customers book.
Checkout extras
Promo codes: percent or dollars off at checkout.
Minimum order: jobs priced on site don’t count against it.
Prices with tax, a terms checkbox, and member prices for maintenance-plan members.
Your AI Receptionist
Your AI follows these same settings on calls and texts.
Says prices your way: “starting at”, and never a number for jobs priced on site.
Takes the details for request-only services and sends you the request instead of booking a time.
Asks which option before offering times and books the time it takes: a 50-gallon install gets 50-gallon time. Add-ons and the answers to your questions go on the job.
Offers your arrival windows (“between 9 and 12”), the same ones customers see online.
Checks the address against your service area before offering times.
Tells callers the trip charge and any deposit before booking, and holds to your minimum.
Asks own or rent and how to get in. The landlord’s number and gate code are saved on the job.
Invites callers to text photos to your number. They’re added to the caller’s open job.
On the phone, a few things work differently: the booking stands while the caller finishes the payment link (online, the time is held until it’s paid), and the AI only says the link is sent once it is. Promo codes are noted on the job for you to apply. There’s no terms checkbox, and card on file isn’t collected by phone.
