What is AI scheduling?
AI scheduling means appointment booking handled by artificial intelligence: clients can book through your website, or by calling and texting a number where an AI answers, checks your live availability, and confirms the appointment — with reminders and follow-ups sent automatically.
How is this different from a regular booking app?
A regular booking app only takes bookings on a webpage. Scheduley also answers your phone and your texts — so clients who prefer to call or message get booked too, into the same calendar.
Can it handle different services and staff members?
Yes. Each service has its own duration and price, each staff member has their own hours and calendar, and both the booking page and the AI respect all of it. You can also let clients choose their team member during booking (with an "Anyone available" option), and group a large menu into categories so clients filter to the right service in one tap.
Does it support video calls or mobile appointments?
Yes — appointments can be in-person at your location, at the client’s location (mobile services with a travel radius), over a video call with an automatic Google Meet link, or by phone. See our pricing page for current plan details. AI calls cost $2/minute and outgoing texts cost 10¢ per message.
Will it double-book me?
No. Every channel — website, calls, and texts — books against the same live calendar, and booking rules like buffer times and lead times apply everywhere.
