Is the business phone number really free?
Yes. The number and your booking page are free, and you get 10 welcome call minutes. After that, AI calls are $2 per minute, billed by the second. Incoming texts are free and outgoing texts are 10¢.
Can I choose my area code?
Yes. Pick the area code you want when you set up your number and Scheduley gets a local number for you. If an area code has no numbers left, try one of the other codes that cover the same area.
Is it a virtual phone number?
Yes. There’s no phone line or hardware to install. Calls and texts come in over the internet, and every call’s recording, transcript and summary shows up in your dashboard.
Can I keep my existing number?
Yes. Forward your current line to your Scheduley number with your phone carrier, either all calls or only the ones you miss. Customers keep calling the number they know.
Can customers text it?
Yes. Customers can text your number and the AI replies with the same knowledge it uses on calls, including booking appointments over text.
