Cancellation policies, no-shows, and deposits

Protect your time without awkward conversations

Clients need a clear policy; you need a calendar that stays honest. Here’s what you can set up in Scheduley today — and when to reach out for what’s next.

Publish your cancellation policy

Write it under Business info → Policies (and mirror it in an FAQ if you like). Your booking page, website, and AI Front Desk can quote the same wording on calls and texts. A simple 24-hour notice policy is enough to start.

No-shows and payment tracking

Open an appointment on the Calendar to mark it paid, unpaid, or handle a no-show so your earnings view stays accurate. Auto-mark paid (in Settings) can flip completed visits to paid for you — a no-show you mark by hand stays unpaid.

Deposits and automatic cancellation fees

Collecting a card deposit at booking, or charging a no-show fee automatically, isn’t a self-serve flow yet. If that’s make-or-break for your business, contact support or use Chat with us — we’ll tell you what’s available now (including Stripe for card payments at booking when connected) and what’s on the roadmap.

Need deposits or auto no-show fees? Contact support and we’ll help.
