Send a text to a group of clients, keep win-back, review and waitlist texts running on their own, and post ready-made ads with a tracked booking link.
Three tabs, one goal: more bookings
Premium feature. Marketing is included with Premium for $39/month. Texts use your included monthly texts first, then your balance at 10¢ each.
Open Marketing in the sidebar. You’ll find three tabs:
- Text clients (Text customers for trades): send one text to a group of people, like everyone who hasn’t been back in a while.
- Automations: the texts that run on their own, with what they did in the last 30 days.
- Post online: ready-to-paste ads for Google, Instagram, Facebook, Nextdoor and Craigslist.
Text a group of clients
1. Pick who gets it. Each group shows how many people are in it right now:
- Haven’t been back: last visit 45, 60 or 90 days or 6 months ago, with nothing booked.
- Fill open spots: anyone who came in this year and has nothing booked. Tap one of your next open days and its times drop into the text.
- Regulars: three or more visits.
- First-timers: one visit in the last 60 days and no rebook yet.
- Had a service: everyone who’s had a specific service.
- Everyone: every client with a mobile number.
2. Write the text. Each group starts with a short message you can change. Tap First name or Booking link to drop those in; everyone gets their own name and your booking link. Short texts cost one text each; longer ones are split into parts, and the count shows how many.
3. Check and send. You see exactly what the first person will get, how many people it goes to, and anyone being skipped and why. Tick the box confirming these clients agreed to hear from you, tap Send texts, then confirm.
Change who gets it
The group picks people automatically. To adjust it for one send, tap Review list:
- Uncheck anyone you’d rather skip.
- Add someone who isn’t in the group by searching their name or number.
- Can’t be texted lists people who are left out, with the reason: opted out, no mobile number, texted this week, or blocked.
Changes only apply to that send. Undo changes puts the group back.
Built-in limits
- STOP works right away. Every campaign text ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.” Anyone who replies STOP is never sent another campaign or automated marketing text. START opts them back in.
- One campaign text a week per person, even if they’re in several groups or share a number with someone else.
- Daytime only. Texts go out between 9 AM and 8 PM your time.
- Only text people who agreed to hear from you. Promo texts to people who never opted in can get your number blocked by carriers.
See what worked
Sent campaigns shows each send with how many went out and how many people booked within 14 days. You can stop a campaign while it’s sending. If your text balance runs out, it pauses; add funds and tap Resume.
Automations
These run on their own once they’re on, and each shows its last 30 days:
- Win-back texts (Service reminders for trades): one friendly nudge when someone hasn’t rebooked. See win-back nudges.
- Review requests: an invite after each visit or job, to your review page or Google. See getting reviews.
- Waitlist openings: when a cancellation frees a full day, the first few people waiting get a text. See the waitlist.
Post online
Pick where you’re posting and what it’s for (now booking, a promotion, a service spotlight or a seasonal push), and Scheduley writes the post with your services, prices, phone and booking link. Edit it, copy it, and post it yourself; Scheduley never posts for you. Each post’s link is tagged with where it was posted, so Where your visitors come from shows which platform actually brings bookings.
For trades and field service
In Jobs mode everything speaks your language: customers and jobs instead of clients and visits, groups like Due for service (no job in 3 or 6 months or a year) and Repeat customers (two or more jobs), and messages written for tune-ups and repairs. Posts lead with Nextdoor and Google and never include your home address.
