How to add a booking button to your Google Business Profile

When someone finds you on Google Maps, they’re already mid-decision. A Book online button on your Google Business Profile turns that moment into a scheduled appointment — no phone tag, no “I’ll call later” that never happens. Here’s how to set it up.

What you need first

  • A verified Google Business Profile you can edit

Add the booking button (Google Business Profile)

  1. Open business.google.com and select your location
  2. Find Edit profile (or the place Google currently puts Buttons / contact actions — the UI moves slightly)
  3. Add or edit the Book / appointment link action
  4. Paste your booking URL exactly (https, no tracking junk if you can avoid it)
  5. Save and check the button on your live Maps listing from your phone

Which URL should you use?

  • Linking to an unpublished page — always test in an incognito window
