What is an after-hours answering service?

How does it know when I’m closed?

It uses the business hours you set. Pick After hours as your answering hours and the AI only covers the times you’re closed. You can switch to 24/7 or business hours anytime.

How much does after-hours answering cost?

Scheduley starts free with a business number, a booking page and 10 welcome call minutes. After that you pay $2 per minute, billed by the second, only for calls the AI answers, so a quiet night costs nothing. Premium is $39/month and adds 25 call minutes and 50 texts every month.

What about emergency calls at night?

Safety advice always comes first, and the AI never hangs up on an emergency. With Jobs & Field Service (Premium), it also texts you an urgent alert right away, gets the address first and offers the soonest opening. Add a call rule if you want emergency calls transferred straight to you after hours.

Can it book appointments overnight?

Yes. It offers real open times from your calendar and books the caller in, so the appointment or job is waiting when you open. The customer gets a confirmation text.

Can I use it with my current number?

Yes. Turn on call forwarding with your phone carrier and the calls you can’t get to roll over to your Scheduley number. Your customers keep calling the number they already know.
